Known also as Bois d’arc or hedge-apple, Osage Orange is prized for its radiant golden-yellow heartwood that ages into deeper amber tones. The wood is extraordinarily durable, dense, and strong—able to take on fine polish while retaining character.
A deep black resin epoxy is skillfully added to fissures, voids, or artisan grooves in the wood, forming dramatic contrast. The glossy, dark epoxy makes every detail pop and gives a modern sculptural twist to the natural warmth of the Osage.
